Nousaku was founded in 1916 in the industrial city of Takaoka city, specializing in the art of brass casting for Buddhist altars. Since then, Nousaku has designed and developed a variety of brass wind-bells, vases, interior and tableware products using traditional Japanese melting and casting techniques passed down from the regions four-hundred-year history.
Nousaku bells were a featured exhibit in 2008 at the MoMA in New York.
